New Range of Night Wear ideal for crossdressers

I have just completed adding to the range of Baby Dolls and Nightwear on the site. The new range includes several items which are available in UK size 16 - which is a little larger than the previous ones went up to. I think my favourite is the Polka Dot Night Dress shown on the right.

Also by popular demand I have added a French Maid Costume. It is a small departure from the type of lingerie I usually stock - but I have had a number of requests.

Dark Skin Tone Silicone Hip Enhancers

Hi

Over the past couple of years I have received quite a few enquiries about the possibility of having darker coloured versions of my top selling realistic silicone hip enhancers. As a result of a this, I have been in discussions with the manufacturer and I am happy to announce that they are now available in three skin tones.

I have struggled a bit with what to call them Mocca, Chocolate etc etc, but have decided that Light, Mid-Tone and Dark are probably the best bet.

I am open to any suggestions though !

In my opinion the Amoena 382 Breast forms are the most realistic feeling breast forms you can buy.

I have added the beast of the Amoena Contact range of breast forms to the site.

I think these breast forms are pretty much the best you can buy. They are ideal breast forms for crossdressers as they are permanently self adhesive, lifelike, and come in a range of sizes and profiles.

In response to a number of requests, I have found a couple of ranges of matching bras, briefs and suspenders. They are really pretty sets, but unfortunately the bras will not quite conceal your breastforms.

Two New Crossdressing Bras

I have been working with a German supplier I have used on and off over the past few years, to try and find a couple of good bras, at a slightly lower price point. I am happy to add these to the collection:

the Floral Embroidered Underwired Bra at £19.99; and
the Pretty Underwired Bra at £18.99

These are lovely bras, made of slightly less glamourous materials - hence the lower price -but represent great value.

I have tested these for fit, and have found that the cups are a little smaller than the other bras in my range. On that basis I do recommend that you purchase a cup size larger than you would normally do.

Thanks so much to everyone for the lovely comments on the website, it is starting to get there now, but still lots to do.

Everyone seems to like the homepage redesign with the new images, which is great.

I have added a couple of lingerie sets, one for crossdressing bridal lingerie, and the other is a very sexy crossdressers lingerie set, based around a lovely waist cincher. I will see how it goes, and will add some more if you like it.

Let me know if there are any other sets you would like adding.

I have a couple of other ranges to add as well, but more of that nearer the time. I also still need to finish the advice pages.

New products to add to the padded panties

Well I am getting lots of interest in the site, and more of you seem comfortable buying from me - which is fantastic. I have already had so many lovely conversations with many of you. Lots of interest in Crossdressing Bridal Lingerie, so I have expanded the range to include some basques with large back sizes.

I have also had some enquiries regarding wedding dresses. This is not an area of expertise of my own, but I have a friend who, until very recently, had a shop. She has suggested a lovely range of dresses that have a lace up back. This is fantastic as it means they are more forgiving of measurements being slightly off, and can cope with all types of body shape. They are also not too expensive, starting at around £400.

Please let me know if this is an area of interest (leave a response to this comment or send an email to info@hourglassfigure.co.uk) as I am sure she would be willing to provide fitting and measurement advice over the telephone as well.

I have also added a small range of crossdressing corsets. Just so everyone knows what I am talking about, corsets have a lace-up back - very sexy - and will seriously pull you in. They are sold by the waist measurement with the corset FULLY CLOSED, this is not how you would wear them. Generally speaking you should expect to take about 4 inches off your actual waist measurement to get a get size of the corset you need. So a 32" corset will fit a 36" waist (be honest and DO NOT measure your waist tightly - or you will be squeezed too tight).

Also be careful when buying corsets, many of them are highly shaped - to fit a woman's contours. These may not fit the slightly less curvy male torso. The corsets I have selected are less shaped, and so are ideal for the male torso.

Hi

Now the website is finally getting there. There is still a bit of work to do, and some extra products I want to list, but I am now thinking about how to make it better.

One of the improvements I want to make is to get a series of images showing more of my product on a t-girl. This will show how perfect all the products are for the male torso.

Are you, or can you recommend, a model living in the Manchester area who would do a lingerie / swimwear photo shoot ?

Nearly there with my crossdressers lingerie shop

Well I am nearly there now. I can't tell you what a rush it has been trying to finish all the content on the website. I have had the first trickle of visitors which is all very exciting.

I really need to get my telephone number up and running, but the SIM card hasn't arrived from Orange yet. I also need to finish the advice pages, the fitting guides, and finish loading all my products on.

I would love some feedback on the "size calculators" I have written - they should all be working now. I am a bit of a whiz at these things now - so if you would like something different let me know.

Don't worry the sizing really is different between different breastform suppliers, in fact it differs quited a lot between different breastforms from the same supplier.

I have added a beautiful range of shapewear to the site - I actually use this myself. Julie France is not the best known brand in the UK but it is really fab.

I have only listed the items that I think will interest you. There are a couple with "boxer" legs (see the picture to the right). This leg is generally not needed for a man (thighs are more of a woman's problem), but I included a couple anyway. Lots of it comes in sizes up to a 3XL, which should cope with a 44"/45" waist.
